As I previously lamented in this post, one on-going concern I have is getting sufficient products that appeal to guys on sale at the Brighton Craftaganza markets. If we are to encourage an increasing amount of the public to choose buying handmade products instead of mass-produced ones, it really doesn’t serve the crafting cause to ignore half the population!
But with lots of careful selection, I am happy to say that there will be some fantastic products on sale at the Christmas Brighton Craftaganza that will be fantastic gifts for the dudes in your life. Locally handmade products are no longer the sole realm of women!
Of course, it’s unlikely that a bias towards female-centric work at Craft fairs and Handmade markets is going to change in the near future, but I would argue there is definitely a sea-change happening. So please support this trend whilst helping to make your partner’s/husband’s/son’s/dad’s/friend’s/uncle’s/etc. Christmas a super special, handmade one.
We have such an exciting range of products (for both genders!) available for this festive fair. I love how some of our sellers have taken traditional Christmas gifts, like ties or cuff links, but given them a modern, updated spin.
Other Christmas-gift items are arguably less predictable, like an awesome screen print or fantastic illustrated T-shirt, which surpass anything you’ll find on the high street for quality and originality.
So, with the items shown in the post as just a taster of the male-friendly things that will be available, come down to Fabrica Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December! Oh, and did I mention there’ll be sausage rolls and mulled wine?!
