I’m so excited that one of the ethical fashion brand pioneers, TRAIDremade, is taking a stall for the second time at this Saturday’s Spring Brighton Craftaganza event. Based in a studio near Preston Park, the small ‘remade’ team create wonderful, wearable garments from donated textiles and clothing, the profits from which go to fund development projects in some of the poorest places in the world.
This skirt, named the ‘Camille’, was handmade from beautiful Spring-hued floral fabric. It is an on-trend, full skirted style with box pleats and a curved waistband detail. It is designed to be worn high, on the natural waist line. At just £28.50, you can buy this skirt without straining your purse OR your conscience!
The full range of TRAIDremade clothing can be found in TRAID stores in Camden, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush, with selected pieces available via their online boutique.
